I LOVE THIS LOCATION! First of all, we were seated quickly by a funny and friendly host, and were able to order drinks immediately. The drinks here may taste like juice, but they REALLY sneak up on you! The food is great and reasonably priced for the amount and it being a sit down restaurant. I've never had anything bad from this location, and it didn't take long to come out hot. Jaime took great care of our group for my mother's birthday dinner. He was funny, friendly, and got everything right for our loud and sometimes indecisive group of gals. The birthday event is so cute and fun! We had an amazing night, just like every other night here. Absolutely recommend this place (:

We decided to try out this location. We were seated right away during dinner hour which was great! Waitress was friendly and attentive. We already knew what we were getting so the ordering was quick and easy. Standard chips and salsa while you wait. The salsa could be better and a bit more spicy but they do have a spicy version if that's more your taste. We both ordered the carne asada dinner. I don't do the beans so I got a double serving of rice. The portions are decent so always enough to fill you up. Place is big and the noise level is normal. Nothing crazy. Overall I like this place and location.

The chorizo and eggs was super good and a nice portion. The soup was tasty. Frijoles were good and rice was fluffy and just right. The waitress brought more salsa without us asking. Casual atmosphere and since we were there mid afternoon there were hardly any customers.

I love this place. My favorite restaurant in all of Columbus. They have the strongest margaritas and the prices are affordable. The service is great. Zero complaints.

El Carrizo is pretty decent. It's tucked in the back of the plaza in the corner. I almost missed it the first time because the restaurant sign doesn't lit. We came on a Wednesday and they have a little deal on margs! I got 3 for $15... and they were properly made (strong). We had a good time! I got the "Texas" styled margarita which has a couple different alcohols & is a little stronger. The "small" is actually huge. They bring out chips and salsa, but we asked for queso and it was good! I ordered the burrito and enchilada dinner that came with rice and beans. It was about $10. I got beef, but I should've tried chicken. The beef wasn't what I thought. I was expecting shredded beef, but instead it was more like ground beef that tasted kinda cheap? But I mean, for $10 it was pretty good. Overall, I'd probably come back for drinks and appetizers.

My all time favorite place to drop in for Mexican food when I am home. They are located up Macon road in the shopping plaza near dollar general. Plenty of parking & it's a big size restaurant. I love everything I have tried on their menu from the nachos to the quesadillas. Their salsa is awesome. Not a lot of places get the salsa right. And the tequila flows generously. I went for lunch on a Saturday and they have specials on their margaritas. Most places only have drink specials Monday through Thursday. So this is another plus. The staff is always friendly & helpful. I have never received bad food or service. Stop in & give them a try!
